Before you decide to create your own DIY Super Fund, it will help to find out the cost of rolling out your current super funds into your DIY Super Fund.

Most funds do not charge an exit fee, however, some funds use a lower Unit price (your account - fund - owns Units in a Super Fund Trust) to determine your exit balance, thus exit fees are hidden from the member.

How to Roll Over your Super

When organising rollover of your current Superannuation into your DIY Super Fund, your current Super Fund will require certain withdrawal information to facilitate roll out of monies into your DIY Super Fund.

Most Super Funds have a Roll Over Form, which can be requested to be mailed to you, over the phone. After completing the form to include details of your new DIY Super Fund, we recommend you to attach a copy of the following documents.

  • Australian Business Number
  • Tax File Number
  • Acceptance as a Complying Fund

After we set up your DIY Super Fund, we provide these documents to you.
